Emilia Ciucan, Managing Partner, Ciucan & Associates
Emilia Ciucan has a considerable experience in banking and finance, general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, competition, privatization and capital markets.
Prior to becoming a partner with Ciucan & Associates, Emilia was for almost seven years an independent legal consultant for the Rompetrol group, being at the same time corporate lawyer for the companies of the group and The Rompetrol Group NV‘s Corporate Secretary. In this capacity, she coordinated all projects the Rompetrol group was involved in financing, capital markets and M&A. Her experience also includes coordinating the major corporate matters for the companies in the Rompetrol group and being responsible for all corporate activity of The Rompetrol Group NV.
Before joining Rompetrol, Emilia was for two years legal advisor of former FINANSBANK ROMANIA SA and an associate lawyer with Calin Andrei Zamfirescu & Partners Law Firm, where she was involved in various projects in field such as banking, securities and stock exchange, privatization, corporate, fiscal projects including drafting legal regulations.
Emilia got her LL.B degree in 1998 from the Law and International Relations Institute “Nicolae Titulescu” – Faculty of Law. She is fluent in English.
In her spare time, she likes to travel to unusual places, such as Antarctica, Peru and China because she likes to see the world for what it is: a small place, where everything is achievable. |
